I had tried other ways of dieting over the years, like shakes and intermittent fasting. And yes, you might lose weight in the beginning, but they aren’t sustainable long term and the weight always came back plus more.

I felt like an invisible middle aged woman, I was carrying excess weight around my face, waist, hips and thighs. Even though I was exercising, I couldn't shift any weight. I hated how I looked and I felt quite helpless about what to do. I had started to lose confidence in myself due to how I felt and the weight I was carrying. I used to wake up a lot during the night and could not remember when I last slept through.

I thought it might be hard to start, there was a significant shift in my diet, but then I realised it was harder to stay as I was as it was affecting all aspects of my life.

So how do I write in one little box how bloody amazing this has been?! Sometimes I sound like I’m in a cult when I’m asked what I’m doing to feel this good!

Not only have I lost 14 kilos (in 16 weeks, including over Christmas!), 12 cm off my waist and the best sleeps I’ve ever had; but my skin, hair and nails are totally different.
